Exploring the impact of Helicobacter pylori and potential gut microbiome modulation

چکیده
Helicobacter pylori is a highly prevalent bacteria that can harm humans due to its major involvement in developing gastrointestinal diseases, particularly gastric cancer. Therefore, eradicating H. one of the most important strategies for preventing Antibiotic treatment has always been gold standard infection. However, decreasing efficacy antibiotic therapy rising resistance and high incidence dysbiosis-related adverse effects resulted eradication failure. To enhance effectiveness therapy, modulate gut microbiome were proposed play positive role. Generally, integration probiotics or symbiotic into was shown rate reduce effects. This review aims discuss role effect carcinogenesis modulation

Helicobacter pylori Eradication Causes Perturbation of the Human Gut Microbiome in Young Adults
BACKGROUND Accumulating evidence shows that Helicobacter pylori protects against some metabolic and immunological diseases in which the development of these diseases coincide with temporal or permanent dysbiosis. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of H. pylori eradication on the human gut microbiome. METHODS As part of the currently on-going ESSAY (Eradication Study in Stable Adul...

Helicobacter pylori: a poor man's gut pathogen?
Helicobacter pylori is one of the human pathogens with highest prevalence around the world; yet, its principal mode of transmission remains largely unknown. The role of H. pylori in gastric disease and cancer has not been established until the end of the 20th century. Since then, its epidemiology has been extensively studied, and an accruing body of literature suggests that not all humans are e...
متن کاملHelicobacter pylori modulation of gastric acid.
Helicobacter pylori plays major causative roles in peptic ulcer disease and gastric cancer. Elevated acid secretion in patients with duodenal ulcers (DUs) contributes to duodenal injury, and diminished acid secretion in patients with gastric cancer allows carcinogen-producing bacteria to colonize the stomach. Eradication of H. pylori normalizes acid secretion both in hyper-secreting DU patients...
متن کاملDietary Influence of the Gut Microbiome – Potential Hazards and Benefits
Over the past decade, significant advancements in metagenomics and metabolomics have shed light on the intricate influence of the gut microbiome on the course of systemic diseases. Even more recently, data has emerged on specific bacterial metabolites and antigens interacting with the immune system to modulate these diseases. As diet partly determines the gut flora, we analyzed studies on dieta...
